Trying Out a New Look

So, I guess you could say that I'm difficult to please.

Okay, not really, but I just can't find the right template for my blog. The one I like is already taken by two of my favorite bloggers, so I decided to try to find a different one that I like better than my current "look". I'll leave it for a while, so that I can see if it grows on me. I'm still not sure...I think I need more choices (hint, hint Blogger!)

This color scheme looks good, but I like the last 2 you had.

Why can't you use the templates of fellow bloggers? Is that like wearing the same dress?

JT,

When I go to Bekah's Bits, I suffer from deja vu. There's that split second when I think I may have done something wrong and ended up back at my own blog. It's disconcerting.

And we wouldn't wish that on Christina.

JT,

Skyepuppy hit the nail on the head. I like to be able to look at my blog and know that it's mine without having to think about it too much. Plus, the template I like happens to be the one Skyepuppy and Bekah use, so it would just confuse me (and apparently them). Goodness knows I don't need more confusion!

I guess I'll take these into consideration when I choose a template for my future blog.

Yes, it's still in the construction stage. I'm working on setting a time to blog, on something, daily.

I applaud Skye and Chris for posting daily, even if it's "butt" stages.

JT,

I agree with you, anyone who manages to blog on just about anything on a daily basis deserves some credit. I can remember having quite a few classes in college which required daily journaling as a part of the course. I hated it. I didn't do it. Well, it looked like I did it, but usually it was the result of several hours' worth of focusing on what happened over several weeks' worth of time.

I'm not good at writing daily...but I'm working on it. Maintaining this blog is an accomplishment for me. I set it up completely on my own (I'm technologically challenged in a mighty way) and I've been trying to write something at least once a week, though there are times when I fall behind out of necessity. I'm aiming for once a day blogging, but I think I'd better keep taking baby steps for a while longer.

I (and several others) are eagerly anticipating your blog. Let us know when it begins and thanks for sticking with me!

I must also applaud you for posting (when you have a minute) while taking care of a family and home full-time.

I need to focus, and if I proceed with a blog, I need to nurture discipline and do it right.

I'm encouraged and I thank all of you who've enjoyed my comments.
