Muslim Cleric Views Women as Pieces of Meat

This is going to be a short post simply because I don't really think that much needs to be said. Any sane logical human being can read the muslim cleric's comments and judge for themselves what the true muslim view of women is.

Australian muslim cleric Taj El-Din Hamid Halaly had to say, in a sermon to over 500, that women who " 'sway suggestively', wear make-up and no hijab, or Islamic headscarf, for inviting sexual attack." He went on to say, in words that cannot possibly be more degrading, that,

"If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside on the street, or in the garden or in the park, or in the back yard without a cover, and the cats come and eat it ... whose fault is it, the cats or the uncovered meat? The uncovered meat is the problem...".

So basically, if a woman leaves her house with even a tidbit of skin visible, or even if she is covered, but walks with a bit of a natural feminine stride, she is not only vulnerable to sexual attacks, but is inviting them, and thus the sexual predator (uncontrolled muslim male) bares no responsibility for his actions.

Of course, Hilaly "apologized" for any offense that was taken by his comments (but not for the comments themselves). He said, in the ultimate irony, that he was only trying to "protect women's honor".

All I can say to such a waste of humanity is that if cleric Hilaly really cared about protecting the honor of women, he might start by mandating that muslim men act with some honor themselves and stop viewing women as nothing better than a piece of meat.

This morning Janice, over at "Nuggets Of News," posted the transcript from the "Friday" sermon in which the imam refereed to women as a "kilo" of meat. You got to read it, it'll raise the hairs on the back of your neck. The "matter of fact" tone is quite revealing of the religion of peace.

I can picture it in my mind. Men on the floor, attentively listening to the robed scholar pontificate on the evils of women. (come back next Friday when I'll tell you how to effectively beat your wife)

It's amazing how they get away with this. It goes along with the "right" to beat your wife, it's in the koran (and the koran is all I need to guide me through life's journey.)

jihadi tracker,

I did read Janice's post and then I found the article on Laura Ingraham. The whole thing is absolutely disgusting and appalling to me, as a woman.

What I find particularly interesting is the lack of protest from feminist groups here in America and around the world. Isn't this what they should be protesting and boycotting? How does the repression of women get much worse?

It just goes to further prove my point that today's feminists are not for empowering all women, only empowering liberal-minded women who want the "right" to abort their children. That's the only thing that matters to them anymore.

I also find it interesting to compare the muslim teachings to Christian teachings on the subject of adultery. Muslims will stone or behead a woman that they even believe has comitted adultery. The example I can find in the Bible of an adulterous woman (actually both examples that pop into my mind) end with Jesus forgiving the woman and telling her clean up her act and not make the same mistake again. In fact, Jesus prevented a stoning for one of the women.

It seems to me that, given the choice of Islam or Christianity, the "religion of peace" is quite obvious.

Thanks for the comment!

Great post Christina.

Mine was a quick "hit and run" as you put it, on the subject. When I got home and read your post you said everything I was thinking all day.

Where is NOW and Code Pink on this issue? What about NARAL, no one to available to go down under and protest or is the fear that you'll end up loosing your head keeping them safe and secure in America?

It makes me sick. The fact that CAIR and other islamic groups are embraced by these left-wing
moon-bats, that is, until they've outlived their usefulness. By then it'll be to late. What's NOW or Code Pink going to say when they're covered with a burka?

The left-wing groups like NOW and Code Pink have always struck me as being stuck in adolescence, where they're unable to envision the conseqences of their words and actions. So they keep doing their thing, believing that the enemy (CAIR) of their enemy (Bush) is their friend. Only in the future, when the consequences of their beliefs hit them upside their heads, will they (hopefully) understand.

Bush is the more immediate threat to the Liberal woman's little world. If Hillary Clinton was president and fighting the war on terror, then I think the outrage would be there.

But would Hillary or any other Liberal fight the war on terror?

Great point Chris, would a woman fight this war the way it needs to be fought?
The outrage regarding this imam and his comments would be "front page" news because a woman sits in the oval office. However, what would her reaction be to the muslim mind-set "down under?"

I pray we never find ourselves in that situation.
